Washington junior Bryant Smith pinned his Bunn HS opponent in the 160 lb. class in Wednesday’s season-opening match. The Wildcats eliminated the Pam Pack in the third round of the 2A playoffs last winter and prevailed again 42-40. Other Washington winners included Sawyer Vosburgh, Tate Tucker, Gabe Foreman, Gabe Davis and Christian Price by pin. Wyatt Campbell won his match by decision. The Pack also lost to West Craven and D.H. Conley in the tri-match. Smith and Vosburgh pinned all three of their opponents. (Steve Barnes/Washington Daily News)
