Sweet plays in All-Star game

Pungo Christian Academy senior Conner Sweet was part of the North Carolina/Virginia Independent Schools All-Star game last weekend at John Paul II Catholic High School in Greenville. Sweet, with head coach Alex Sefton (right) and assistant coach Mike Blizzard caught a touchdown pass and played safety on defense as the NC All-Stars prevailed 56-6. The senior is the first Raider chosen for this All-Star game after he set the program season record with 1506 all-purpose yards and 14 receiving touchdowns. (submitted)
