The citizens of Beaufort County will soon have cutting edge technology at their fingertips when it comes to reporting crime in their community.

Beaufort County Crime Stoppers will soon be switching the software used to report, receive, and manage tips to P3 Global Intel.  Once this new technology is in place, tipsters will be able to download the mobile app in the Apple and Android app stores.

The app will allow tipsters to create new tips and update existing ones. Additionally, the mobile app will allow tipster to attach video, audio, images, and PDF files to their tips.

Tipsters will also be able to engage in two way dialogue with P3 Tips administrators.

The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office will work with local law enforcement agencies in Beaufort and the surrounding counties to ensure tips received through P3 are shared with the appropriate agency.
