On Feb. 7, 2023, investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Shaquel Collins, 29 years of age, of 113 Days Inn in Washington.  Collins was charged with (4) counts of Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Fentanyl, Possession of Fentanyl and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Collins arrest stemmed from Investigators making controlled purchases of Fentanyl from Collins.  Investigators executed a Search Warrant on Collins’ hotel room located at 113 Days Inn in Washington.  Investigators found Fentanyl and packaging material used to package Fentanyl.

Collins was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $65,000 secured bond.
