Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Howard Dees, age 74, a resident of Farm Lane, Washington, died Friday, February 17, 2023, at her daughter’s home.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday, February 24, 2023, at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington. Graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Oakdale Cemetery.

Mrs. Dees was born in Beaufort County on March 20, 1948. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Howard and Adelaide Jones Bailey Howard.  Mrs. Dees was a homemaker.  In her spare time, she enjoyed going shopping, going to the beach, and going out to eat.

Mrs. Dees is survived by two daughters, Susan Keech Ayers and husband, Bobby Lee Ayers, Ashlea Dees Juarez and husband, Rigoberto all of Washington: and six grandchildren, Stephanie LeAnne Keech, Seth Michael Keech, Angela Elizabeth Morales, Charles Alexander Abarca, Marisela Isabel Abarca, and Sophia Isabella Juarez.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dees was preceded in death by a brother, Benjamin Franklin Howard.
