Burke’s Outlet at Pamlico Plaza in Washington is a thing of the past. It will now be known as Beall’s and Home Centric. Burke’s is under the larger Beall’s Inc., a Florida based retail company which also owns Home Centric and Rugged Earth Outfitters. 

“We are transforming the store into a Bealls/Home Centric store which is our most popular offering. As a combo store, the remodeled store will have furniture, decorating solutions, design ideas from timeless to eclectic. There will be lots of seasonal decorations, art, lamps, room size rugs and more,” Karen ONeil, communications director for Beall’s Inc. said. 

The Washington store is the first in North Carolina that is being changed to Beall’s. There are 36 stores across the state that will receive the same change. 

Though the store remains open during the remodel and 10,000 sq. ft. expansion, a grand re-opening is scheduled for April 20.
