Viola Arthur Spencer, 87, born on April 29th 1935, died March 13, 2023. We are all saddened by her passing. She was the daughter of Randolph Arthur Sr. and Lilly Ruth Jennette Arthur of Belhaven, North Carolina. She was married for 59 years to the late Edward L. Spencer Sr. She is survived by two sisters, Thelma Reyes of Brooklyn, NY and Romaine Whitley of Pantego, North Carolina. She is also survived by five sons, Edward L. Spencer Jr of Belhaven NC, Glenn R. Spencer (Doreen) of Wendell NC, Johnnie E Spencer (Verlesia) of Belhaven NC, Vincent L. Spencer of Ridgewood Healthcare, and Donald R. Spencer (Debra) of Belhaven NC. She is also survived by six grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. She was one of Jahova’s witnesses and a faithful sister for 63 years having a great love for her God Jehovah. She was a special person with unique qualities of love, kindness and joy. Viola A Spencer will always be remembered with much fondness by all who have come to know her over these many years. Saturday visitation & viewing will be at 3 PM Saturday March 25, 2023, at Rountree Family Mortuary & Cremation Services- 3152 US Highway 175, Chocowinity NC 27817. Memorial service will be Sunday March 26 1:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses- 25319 US-264, Pantego NC 27860
