Detectives with the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office Gang and Gun Crimes Unit recently began an investigation, through which they determined that 47-year-old Tammy Marie Delsanto of Washington had pawned 4 different firearms to a Greenville pawn shop on March 7, 2023. It was further determined that Delsanto was a convicted felon, making her unable to possess such firearms.

Five felony warrants were obtained charing Delsanto with four counts of Possession of Firearm by Felon and one count of Obtaining Property by False Pretense. Delsanto was located and taken into custody by the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office on March 29, 2023. She was taken before a magistrate and placed under a $15,000 secured bond.
