Pitt County, NC – At about 3:56 a.m. on Thursday April 6, 2023, deputies from the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of N.C. 33 E and Langley Dr. near Grimesland where one adult and one juvenile were shot and injured.  Both were transported by ambulance to ECU Health for treatment.  Their conditions are currently unknown.

No further information is available for release at this time while detectives continue the investigation.  More information will be released when possible.
