Dennis Andre Czuchra, age 67, a resident of Washington, NC died Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Duke University Hospital.

A memorial service will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, June 10, 2023, in the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and will be officiated by Marty Alligood.

Mr. Czuchra was born in Hampden County, MA to the late Chester Theodor Czuchra and Marie Claire Czuchra. On September 12, 1981, he married Rebecca Sue Rook who survives. He received his bachelor’s in science from Long Island University. Mr. Czuchra was a Certfied Physician’s Assistant and Owner of Healthworx in Washington.  He enjoyed traveling, cruising, gambling, and telling stories.

In addition to his wife survivors include, three children, Tabitha Czuchra (Jason Edwards) of Washington, Erik Czuchra of Goldsboro, Madison Czuchra of Siler City, two grandsons, Alyas Williams, Eli Edwards, a sister-in-law, Judy Schmidt, Beth and Phillip Baucom, Gage and Beau Baucom, Courtney Blount, and his staff at Healthworx.

The family will receive friends at the home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Dennis A. Czuchra Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 1465, Washington, NC 27889.
