On Monday, June 26, 2023, 34-year-old Michael Edward Clark, Sr. of Robersonville, plead guilty to one felony count each of Indecent Liberties with Child and Sale Delivery of Controlled Substance (marijuana) to Minor 13 Years Old and Under in Beaufort County Superior Court.  

Clark was sentenced to serve between 155 and 208 months in NC Department of Corrections. He will have to register as a sex offender upon his release from the department. 

The conviction was a result of an investigation conducted by Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Deputies of a sex offense that occurred at a residence in Beaufort County during the month of July in 2020.
