The family of Luz Marie Jones is saddened to announce her passing on Sunda,y July 23^rd, 2023 at ECU Health-Buford Hospital around 7:15 P.M. Eastern Standard Time. Mrs. Jones was a well respected member of her community and a friend to many people. She has been preceded in death by her mother: Mercedes Maldonado and her younger son: Rafael Perez. She has left a great legacy and will always be remembered by her husband: Melvin E. Jones of Bath, N.C. and her oldest living son: Jose Antonio Perez of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. She was a great wife and mother whom will be sorely missed by all that she has touched.
