Charlotte Elaine Maye, 84, transitioned on August 12, 2023. She was born in Beaufort County to the late Charles Harding and Charlotte Harding.

Charlotte worked in the literacy program at Alamance Community College. She enjoyed traveling, puzzles and sewing. She was also a fan of Duke basketball and minor league baseball.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Charles Maye of Burlington and daughters Traci Maye of Suffolk, VA and Karen Maye of Greensboro, NC.

Public viewing will be held from 3-8pm in the Roy Blackwell Chapel on August 18, 2023. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 19th at The Episcopal Church of The Redeemer in Greensboro at 11am. Visitation will be held half an hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at Alamance Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the Alter Guild of The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer 901 E. Friendly Ave, Greensboro, NC 27401.
