Tideland substation down, thousands without power

*UPDATE: Power was restored at 2:26 p.m.

Power is off to Tideland EMCs Edward substation, affecting  3,248 members of the electric cooperative.

“Crews are en route to the substation now,” according to information released by Tideland EMC through multiple channels.
