Mr. George Eugene “Gene” Donovan, age 80, a resident of Chocowinity, NC died Tuesday August 29, 2023, at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville.  He was the husband of Dolores “Dee” Donovan, also of Chocowinity.

A funeral service will be held in Delaware and a memorial service will be held at a later date in Chocowinity.

Pippin Funeral Home in Delaware and Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington are serving the Donovan family.
