Larry Michael Capps, age 76, died Wednesday afternoon September 6, 2023, at his home, tending to the crops he loved.  Born April 1, 1947, in Johnston County to the late Albert Washington and Rachel Elizabeth Hill Capps, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Noble Capps and Donald Capps and sister, Dorothy “Dot” Spencer.  A farmer all his life, he enjoyed tilling the soil and spending time with family and friends.

The family will receive friends Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 pm.in the chapel.

Surviving are his wife, Faye Parrish Capps; daughters, Dr. Donna Capps of Smithfield, Dawn Capps and her husband R.C. and Abigail Capps all of Engelhard and two grandchildren, Corey Michael Davis and Harlee Ann Davis.
