Mrs. Belinda Lee Barr Viner, age 72, a resident of Washington, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023, at ECU Health Beaufort Hospital in Washington.

Private services will be held.

Mrs. Viner was born in Washington, N.C. on July 12, 1951.  She was the daughter of the late Edward Earl Barr and Marian Jones Barr.  Mrs. Viner was a retired bookkeeper at Piggly Wiggly (now Carlie C’s) on River Road.  She enjoyed life and loved the Lord. She also loved to laugh and taking trips to the beach with her family.  Mrs. Viner was an animal lover, especially her cockatiel, Spikie.

Mrs. Viner was married to Walter L. Viner, who preceded her in death, June 18, 2005.

Mrs. Viner is survived by her daughter, Anna Belinda Cratch and husband, Bill of Gasburg, VA; brother, Edward Earl Barr and wife, Ursula of Washington; and two sisters, Becky Barr Simpkins of Washington, Lori Wells and husband, Bobby of Washington.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Viner was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Elks.
