Tommy “Tom” Wayne Holder, age 72, a resident of Pinetown, NC died Friday, November 24, 2023, at his home.

A funeral service was held at 3:00PM Monday, November 27, 2023, in the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington. The family received friends from 2:00PM until the funeral hour on Monday.

Mr. Holder was born in Catawba County, NC on March 19, 1951. Before his retirement, he owned and operated Pamlico Boat and Fiberglass in Washington, NC. On August 24, 1985, he married Betty Lou Woolard. Mr. Holder enjoyed fishing, hunting with the Hunters Bridge Hunting Club, and working in his yard and his shop.

Survivors include his two sons, Tim Holder and wife Susie of Denver, NC, Chad Holder and wife Candis of Denver, NC, a stepson, Mike Leggett, and wife Tammy of Chocowinity, two grandchildren, Anna Holder, Miles Holder, step grandchildren, Stacy Bell, Johnna Bell, one step great grandchild, Aiden Adams, and two brothers, Terry “Frog” Holder and companion Karen Santos of Mount Dora, FL, and Michael Rainey and wife Marsha of Maiden, NC.

He is preceded in death by his mother Bonnie Rainey and stepfather Buck Rainey.
