On January 05, 2024, Deputies with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office arrested Rocky Earl Grimes Jr. on multiple drug charges.  This arrest stemmed from Deputies conducting controlled purchases of fentanyl from Grimes and executing a search warrant at Grimes home in Aurora, NC.  As a result of this investigation, Deputies seized powdered fentanyl and a 9mm handgun.

Rocky Earl Grimes Jr. was held in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $55,000 secured bond under the following charges:

-(2) counts of PWISD Schedule II (Fentanyl)

-(1) count of Possession of a Firearm by a Felon

-(1) count of Possess Marijuana less than ½ Ounce

-(2) counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
