At approximately 1:18 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 6, Washington Police Department officers responded to the 300 block of W. 9^th Street in reference to a report a shots fired.

During the course of the investigation it was determined the shooting is a result of an on-going dispute between individuals.

As a result of the investigation WPD Detectives have secured warrants on Mykal Coleman charging him with two counts of Assault with a Deadly Weapon With Intent to Kill and Going Armed to the Terror of the Public.
