Glenda Newton Leonard, age 86, a resident of Chocowinity, NC, died peacefully at home on Friday, March 1, 2024.

She was the wife of Patrick (Paddy), mother of Mark, Paul, John, and Shivaun, grandmother of Callan, Shonagh, Rhys, Owen, Anusha, Elena and Tara and great grandmother to Bowen.

She was born on July 8, 1937, in Manchester, England and was married to Patrick for 63 years.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated at Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Washington on Wednesday March 13, 2024, at 10:00AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at Mother of Mercy or The Shepard Cancer Foundation in Washington.
