Northside junior Andrew Harding finished 11th in the one mile run and 14th in the two mile at the Adidas National Elite Track and Field meet in Virginia Beach over the weekend. Harding was second in his heat in both races and covered the mile in 4:31.07 in the final, eight seconds behind the winner.

He ran the two-mile race in 9:50.56, 25 seconds off the lead. 40 runners competed in the two mile event and 75 ran in the one mile race. Harding finished second in the state 1A cross country meet in the fall and is a member of the Panthers track team this spring.
