The TEACH Trailblazers home school golf team nudged Northside by two shots to win Wednesday’s match at the Washington Yacht & country Club.

TEACH posted a four person score of 351, while Northside shot 353. Washington High School was third at 397, the Northside B team shot 405 for fourth and Mattamuskeet carded a 430.

Northside’s Gavin Sawyer took medalist honors with a 78, three shots ahead of the Trailblazers Chris Stembridge, who posted an 81. Teammate Ashier Collie was third at 86 and TEACH’s Kyle Styons was tied for fourth with Northside’s Wyatt Berry at 87.

Maddox Knopic completed the scoring for TEACH with a 97, while Cooper Evans and Gus Vansant rounded out the Panthers total with 94’s.

Oliver Thomas led the Pam Pack with a 94 followed by Ayden Yates and Garrett Hudson (100) and Drake Foster (103).

Landan Moore shot 98 to lead Northside’s B team, followed by Sophie Berry and Landan Cahoon (100) and Lawson Galta at 107.
