On July 19, 2024, at approximately 1:18 p.m. deputies with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in Cherry Road Estates in Washington regarding a Domestic Assault. The suspect, 31-year-old Ryan Austin Stalls, fled the scene prior to deputies’ arrival.

The adult female victim was assaulted with multiple weapons. A female child under the age of 12 was also assaulted with a weapon. Both victims were transported by EMS for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation is still on going.

Deputies have obtained warrants, charging Ryan Austin Stalls with Felony Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury and Misdemeanor Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Stalls also has an outstanding Warrant for Felony Parole Violation. Stalls was last seen operating a dark blue 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe with a 30-day registration tag. Additional charges will be forthcoming.
