Michael Gwin Taylor, born January 20, 1951, passed away on August 11, 2024 at his home in Angier, NC at the age of seventy-three. Mike was the middle son of J.R. and Evelyn Jones Taylor, both preceding him in death along with his older brother Joseph Taylor. Mike is survived by his younger brother Andy Taylor. Mike was a beloved uncle to Drew, Christian, Stephanie, Jordan, and Gabriel. Mike was a graduate of Washington High School and then East Carolina University. The family will be celebrating Mike’s life on August 24th at 10am at his childhood church First Baptist Church of Washington. In lieu of flowers we are asking to make a donation to the Gary Sinise Foundation.
