Joyce “Janice” Janet Smith, age 83 a resident of Chocowinity, died Sunday, August 18, 2024, at ECU Health Beaufort Hospital.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Paul Funeral Home and Crematory of Washington, and other time at the home.
