FOREST, Va. – Reagan Stoop of the Bridgewater College women’s volleyball team has been named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week.
The sophomore from Belhaven, N.C. had a weekend to remember in her home state as she led the Eagles to a 4-0 record on the weekend in Raleigh without dropping a set.
Stoop racked up 48 kills in 10 sets played on the weekend and swung at a .381 clip. Saturday saw Stoop rack up 17 kills without making an error against Oglethorpe in the first match of the day, followed by 18 kills in a win over Meredith later in the day.
This is Stoop’s fourth ODAC Player of the Week selection in her career after earning the weekly accolade three times last season.
At PCA, the 6’0 outside hitter led the Raiders to consecutive state championships her junior and senior year. She was a four-time All-State, Tar Heel Independent Conference Player of the Year and tournament Player of the Year award winner and holds PCA’s career record for kills, service points and aces.
