Four men convicted of multiple felonies in Beaufort County Superior Court

Last week, four Beaufort County men were sentenced in Beaufort County Superior Court to serve time in prison on multiple felony charges. The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office and the Beaufort County District Attorney’s Office worked diligently to bring justice in these cases.
Rolando Kenneth Cariaga Jr. pled guilty to Second Degree Murder and Felony Larceny of a Motor Vehicle. Cariaga Jr. was sentenced to 240-300 months in the Department of Adult Correction.
Chrishaun Carter pled guilty to Voluntary Manslaughter, (6) counts of PWISD Fentanyl and DWI. Carter was sentenced to 121-178 months in the Department of Adult Correction
Jason Scott Fleming Sr. pled guilty to (3) counts of Felony Obtaining Property by False Pretenses, (2) counts of Felony Larceny, (2) counts of Felony Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle, Felony Identity Theft, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Obstruction of Justice, Assault on a Government Official, Resisting a Public Officer and Misdemeanor Larceny. Fleming was sentenced to 49-87 months in the Department of Adult Correction.
Rocky Earl Grimes Jr. pled guilty to (2) counts of PWISD Fentanyl, Trafficking Fentanyl by Possession, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and Habitual Felon. Grimes was sentenced to 70-93 months in the Department of Adult Correction and given a $50,000 fine.
