Softly and tenderly Jesus called Dorothy (Dottie) Weiss Bunch home at the age of 98 on October 16, 2024.  She was born in Womelsdorf, PA and was predeceased by her parents, brother, and her beloved husband, Donald a piano technician. Their home was filled with music at all times. She is survived by her daughter, Colleen (John) Buchholz and her son, Donald Dean (Madeline) Bunch, six dear grandchildren and their spouses, seven delightful great grandchildren, very special nieces, nephews & cousins. She was a long time resident of Washington, NC. She taught piano for 50+ years impacting the lives of many children and adults. She was a very active member of the First Christian Church with their many facets of music ministry, the Christian Women’s Fellowship, & her Trinity Sunday School Class. Dottie was also active in the community with her involvement with many groups and organizations and throughly enjoyed times of fellowship with family, many precious friends and neighbors. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH 307 E. 3rd Street Washington, NC on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 27th at 2:00 pm with visitation following the service.
