Washington High grad Terry Moore and Pungo Christian grad Reagan Stoop had big games for their respective teams in the past week. They are part of the latest “Where Are They Now” segment.

Moore, a safety for the Duke football team, had seven tackles, four of them solo, as the Blue Devils beat Florida State 23-16 last Friday. It was the first-ever win for the Blue Devils (6-1, 2-1 ACC) over the Seminoles (1-6, 1-5).

It’s the second time in three games that Moore has had more than seven tackles. He had a team-high 10 tackles two weeks earlier in the win over North Carolina.

Duke is now 6-1 overall, 2-1 in the ACC. The Blue Devils host SMU on Saturday.

Stoop set a couple of season highs in the past week for Bridgewater’s volleyball team, which went 2-1 in its past three games. She had a season-high four aces in a loss at Mary Washington on Oct. 19. In addition, she had 19 kills and 19 digs.

On Oct. 12, in a win over Marymount, Va., she had two aces. She also had eight kills, two block assists and eight digs in that win.

Bridgewater also beat Roanoke on Oct. 16. Stoop had 15 kills and 14 digs.

The Eagles improved to 16-5 overall, 7-2 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. They face Christopher Newport on Wednesday.
