Washington boys 6th at 2-A Cross Country East Regional

KINSTON, N.C. — Washington’s boys cross country team placed sixth at the Class 2-A East Regional on Saturday at the Kinston Fairgrounds.
South Lenoir was the host school.
Washington finished with 167 points, led by Manuel Meza’s 26th-place time of 19:30.19. Other Washington runners included David Barrera (27th, 19:31.41), Tripp Dunn (35th, 20:46.04), Louis Miller (37th, 20:53.11) and Justin Woolard (42nd, 21:12.54). Solomon Boltes (43rd, 21:25.50) and Tyler Fisher (65th, 23:48.62) also ran for the Pam Pack.
Washington’s girls did not have a full team running. The top runner was Keelyn Plunkett (20th, 24:24.67) with Jessica Conner (23rd, 24:44.63), Reagan Fisher (39th, 27:21.31) and Olive Tankard (65th, 33:59.53) also competing.
