Driver charged with DWI after crashing into Jack’s Creek

On Sunday, Nov. 17 at approximately 6:53 p.m. a driver crashed into Jack’s Creek, according to Director of Police and Fire Services Stacy Drakeford.
The driver, 65-year-old Librado Reboyar-Ponce, traveled east on Third Street and Brown Street then traveled across the west bound lane into Jack’s Creek, Drakeford explained. Reboyar-Ponce was not injured. He was driving a 2019 Toyota.
Reboyar-Ponce was charged with Driving While Impaired, No Operators License and Failure to Maintain Lane control.
This report comes nine-and-a-half months after a vehicle, connected to a 1982 missing persons report, was retrieved from Jack’s Creek.
