Man charged with attempted first degree murder arrested by Washington police

On Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024 officers with Washington Police Department located and arrested Jamarion Windley, 20, of Washington for active arrest warrants charging him with Attempted First Degree Murder.  Windley was wanted for a shooting that occurred on July 6, 2024.  Windley has additional charges including Resisting an Officer, Carrying a Concealed Gun, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor and Discharging a Firearm.

Windley made his first court appearance this morning and had a bond set in the amount of $50,000.

Washington Police Department was assisted in the apprehension by Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.
