The western portion of a boardwalk in downtown Washington will be closed for almost four months for construction, the City of Washington announced on social media on Wednesday. There will be no public access.

This is the third phase of a three-year project to replace the boardwalk. This phase will replace the last 505 ft. of the total 1,980-ft. boardwalk.
