Hyde County will be represented at the Museum of the Albemarle (MOA) in Elizabeth City, NC this holiday season.

On Nov. 18, Pam Cahoon and Eunice Williams, board members of the Friends of Hyde County’s Historic 1854 Courthouse, traveled to the Museum to decorate a Christmas tree that characterizes the county.

The tree, along with others from the thirteen northeastern counties that MOA serves, will be on display throughout the season.

The Museum’s annual Holiday Open House: A Colonial Christmas will be held on Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., but visitors may stop by during regular business hours, as well.
