Jesse Monroe Powers, Jr., age 100, a resident of Chocowinity, died Saturday, December 28, 2024, at his home.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 4, 2025 in the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and other times at the home of her daughter, 3377 NC Hwy 17 S. Business, Chocowinity.
