There’s only a few hours left of 2024. If you’re still deciding where to ring in the New Year, here’s a list of places in Beaufort County that will be celebrating. 

Grub Brothers Eatery, 156 W Main St. Washington, will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The Bank Bistro, 216 W Main St. Washington, will be open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Ribeyes of Washington, 228 Stewart Parkway, Washington,  will have a New Year Party in the Angus Room featuring DJ L Real. Guests are asked to “dress to impress.” There is no entrance fee, and there will be a champagne toast. The party begins at 8 p.m.

Scoops Ice Cream, 217 W Main St., Washington will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

For kids, Extreme Action Park will have an afternoon celebration from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a balloon drop at 4:30 p.m. Guests will receive balloons, hats and noisemakers. Extreme Action Park is located at 1878 US-17 BUS, Chocowinity. 

Also in the afternoon, David and Reggie will perform at the Grace Martin Harwell Senior Center from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The senior center is located at 310 W Main St., Washington. 

The bar at Bistro 1904 at River Forest Manor will open at noon. It is located at 738 E. Main Street in Belhaven. They will have all you can eat oysters and hot chowder with a champagne toast. Live music will be provided by Elijah Harris. Tickets cost $85 per person. 

Hope Church in Washington will have a New Years Fellowship starting at 8 p.m. in their Family Life Center. The church is located at 2029 W Fifth Street. 

Trinity Methodist Church of Belhaven will have a Covenant Renewal Service starting at 3 p.m. The church is located at 491 E Main St, Belhaven.

Spoon River Artworks & Market will be open for dinner starting at 5:30 p.m. They will be closed on Jan. 1 and 2. They are located at 263 Pamlico St., Belhaven

Fish Hooks Cafe will be open for lunch and dinner, but will be closed Jan 1. They will reopen on Jan. 2. They are located at 231 E Main St., Belhaven.

RiverBend Cultural Arts Center will have a New Year’s Eve Party starting at 8 p.m. It will feature musical duo Voice Carry. Tickets cost $25 per person. Guests are encouraged to bring an hor d’oeuvre or dessert to share. Free champagne will be served at midnight. There will be games and a cash bar. Semi-formal attire is required. ICW Brewery will host a New Years Eve part featuring live music by Don Cox at 8 p.m. ICW is located at 211 Pamlico St., Belhaven.

Open on New Years Day: 

The Mulberry House, 189 W Main St. Washington will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Big Belly Deli, 412 W. 5th St. Washington will be open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
