WPD looking for teen charged with murder, armed robbery; arrests and charges another

Washington Police Department is searching for a 16-year-old who has been charged with murder and armed robbery.
Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Quamir Razor. He is 5’09,” has a slim build and his birthday is Jan. 22, 2008.
Razor and 17-year-old Zaydrian Starkie, of Chocowinity, have been charged with one count each of murder and armed robbery by Washington Police Department. An investigation by the police department connected Razor and Starkie to the shooting death of 20-year-old Shamari Parker, of Washington.
On Tuesday, Jan. 7, at approximately 6:29 p.m., officers with Washington Police Department and Washington Fire Rescue responded to the area of N. Bonner Street near E. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in reference to a single-vehicle crash. Upon arrival the driver and victim, Parker, was found suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Starkie is being held without bond at a juvenile detention facility but is charged as an adult in this case,” the police department stated.
