Mr. Alfred “Pete” Graham Sr., 75, died Tuesday, March 17, 2009.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Beebe Chapel CME Church with the Rev. Joniel G. Carrol officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.
Mr. Graham was born Jan. 24, 1934, the son of the late Rev. Austin and Rosetta Moore Graham. He graduated from P.S. Jones High School. He served in the Army and received an honorable discharge. He married C. Belle Godley on July 24, 1954, who survives. He was a retired barber and supervisor of security in Philadelphia, Pa.
Survivors include two sons, Alfred G. Graham and Alton R. Graham, both of Philadelphia, Pa.; one sister, Beatrice Phillips and seven grandchildren.
The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Arrangements are by Randolph Funeral Home, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington.
