Mrs. Sally Ann Woolard, age 66, of 7441 Broad Creek Road, Washington, NC passed away at her home Thursday, April 2, 2009.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 4, 2009, at Pamlico Memorial Gardens, with Tony Krantz officiating.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2009 at Hillside Funeral Service, 4500 Highway 264 East, Washington, NC.
Mrs. Woolard was born October 27, 1942 in Beaufort County to John and Sallie Ann Hudson Williams. On July 1, 1961 she married Colon Bryan Woolard who survives. Sally Ann graduated from Chocowinity High School and lived her entire life in Beaufort County and was a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of Haw Branch Church of Christ in Chocowinity.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, Cecil Bryan Woolard of Washington; a daughter, Angela Woolard Warren and her husband Michael of Washington; two brothers, Eugene Williams of Wilmar and Malgon Williams of Boulder City, NV and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Merlin Williams and John Williams and two sisters, Margaret Mayo and Alice Faye Langley.
