Deloris Cooper-Downing, 60, of 1071 W. Mill Pond Road, Roper, died Thursday, April 23, 2009, at home. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Lily of the Valley Missionary Baptist Church, Plymouth, with Elder Louis Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Roper. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Puckett-Purkett Memorial Chapel, Roper. Arrangements are by Puckett-Purkett Funeral Service, Roper.
