Mr. James Edward Carpenter, 65, a resident of Aurora, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, at UHS-Beaufort Hospital. A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at Aurora United Methodist Church with the Revs. Tim Ware and Claude Nethercutt officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are by Bryant Funeral Home & Cremations, Alliance.
