Mrs. Mary Jane “Tiggie” Bulluck Daniel, age 75, a resident of 271 Neck B Rd., Pantego, died Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Pungo District Hospital.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at Trinity United Methodist Church and will be conducted by Rev. Sam Grist III. Burial will follow in Belhaven Community Cemetery. Robert L. Williford, John D. Williford, William B. Williford, Dale Oden, Stephen Oden and John David Oden will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Daniel was born in Beaufort County on February 4, 1934 to the late William and Elizabeth Wilkinson Bulluck. She was a graduate of John A. Wilkinson High School and attended Converse College and Richmond Professional Institute. On April 10, 1981 she married Michael R. Daniel who preceded her in death on February 21, 1998. For 35 years she was employed as a bookkeeper. Mrs. Daniel was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She was a recipient of the John A. Wilkinson Award, which she was very proud of.
Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth Oden of Cushing, ME, three sons, Robert L. Williford of Los Alamos, NM, William B. Williford of Miami Lakes, FL, John D. Williford of Miami, FL, one sister, Bitsy Futrell of Eden, NC, six grandchildren, Stephen Oden, Laura Oden, John David Oden, Sean Williford, Megan Williford and Brittany Williford. She was preceded in death by one sister, Billie Billups.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at Paul Funeral Home of Belhaven and other times at the home, 271 Neck B. Rd., Pantego, NC 27860.
