Bishop Joseph Von Squires Sr., 60, of 190 Askins Road, Ernul, died Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at CarolinaEast Medical Center. A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Grover C. Fields Middle School, New Bern. Viewing will take place today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Oscar’s Mortuary in New Bern. The family will receive friends at the home. Arrangements are by Oscar’s Mortuary in New Bern.
