JAMESVILLE — Johnny Allen Mobley, 54, of Jamesville died at Pitt Memorial Hospital Wednesday after a long illness.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Jamesville Cemetery with Rev. Matt Fahy and Dr. Wayne Ellis. Visitation will be after the service at Cedar Branch Baptist Church. Other times at 2430 Mill Road, Jamesville, NC.
Johnny was born Sept. 15, 1954 in Martin County to the late Thurman and Louise Mobley. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Becky Mobley Bland. Surviving are a sister, Caffie Lou Mobley Cooper and husband Dale of Jamesville; brother, Mike Mobley and wife Sherry of Clayton, and Robby Mobley of Jamesville; also several nieces and nephews.
He was a member of Cedar Branch Baptist Church, a graduate of Jamesville High School. He attended Martin Community College. He loved sports and Carolina was his favorite team.
The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the Greenfield Nursing Home in Greenville, and to the Pitt Memorial Hospital for all their love and care they gave him.
