Mrs. Katie Elizabeth Rowe Smithwick, age 100, a former resident of Aurora, died Friday, July 24, 2009, at her home in Sanford.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at Edward Christian Church, Edward, N.C. Burial will follow in the Lee Cemetery in the White Hill community of Aurora.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at Edward Christian Church in Edward.
