Mrs. Shirley “Christine” Adams Cashion, age 58, a resident of 470 Pollard Road, Chocowinity, NC died Wednesday morning July 29, 2009 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday August 1, 2009 at the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home in Washington.
Mrs. Cashion was born in Beaufort County on September 30, 1950, daughter of the late Stafford “Jr.” Adams and Nellie Bullock Adams. On March 21, 1969, she married Frank Taylor Cashion who survives. She was employed at Pitt County Memorial Hospital as a purchasing agent.
In addition to her husband, Frank, she is survived by her daughter: Sharon Cashion Tyer and her husband, Gary of Washington; her son: David Cashion of Greenville; her grandchildren: Justin Tyer, Caroline Tyer, Tanner Tyer and Madison Farmer-Cashion; her brothers: Kenneth Adams and Dennis Adams both of Chocowinity, Don Adams of New Bern, and Benjie Adams of Newport. She is preceded in death by a brother, Bryon Adams.
The family will receive friends at the home.
