Mrs. Marian Woolard Jackson, 49, a former resident of Beaufort County, died Thursday, July 30, 2009, at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida.
A graveside funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Monday August 3, 2009, at Oakdale Cemetery with Tony Krantz officiating.
Mrs. Jackson was born on October 21, 1959, daughter of Heber and Betty Woolard, who survive. She was a 1978 graduate of Washington High School, attended Hardbarger Business College and was a graduate of Beaufort County Community College. Mrs. Jackson worked for several years at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville. On January 20, 1992, she married William Charles Jackson, who survives. Mrs. Jackson was a member of the Beaver Dam Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Jackson is survived by a sister: Elizabeth Woolard Emory and husband Neil of Dunn, NC, a niece: Hannah Emory of Dunn, NC and a nephew: Taylor Emory of Dunn, NC.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service and other times at the home of Mrs. Jackson’s parents: Heber and Betty Woolard, 6407 Broad Creek Road, Washington, NC.
