Ms. Dorothy Paul “Dot” Carawan, 90, a resident of the Vintage Inn, Williamston, and formerly of 612 Small St., Washington Park, died Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the gathering area of First Christian Church in Washington, from 11 to 11:30 a.m. Arrangements are by Paul Funeral Home of Washington.
