When the doorbell rang the other day, I reached for my purse thinking it was another request for donations. But a wonderful surprise greeted me. There, on my doorstep, was a group of people ranging in age from infants to adults singing Christmas carols. It warmed my heart and made my Christmas.

If I were in a nursing home, I would hope I could get a better gift than the Washington Daily News.
